Terms of use

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms cover the Qoreen app for Android and iOS and the website at qoreen.com. In these terms, “Qoreen”, “we” and “us” mean the people who run Qoreen, and “you” means the person using it.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using the app or the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Qoreen. If you are under 18, please use it with the agreement of a parent or guardian.

2. What Qoreen is

Qoreen is a free app to help you read the Quran regularly. It includes:

There are no paid features, leaderboards, badges or referral rewards. The website has a waitlist you can join for launch news and updates.

3. The Quran text and fonts

Quran text data is provided by Quran Foundation. Mushaf fonts are provided by Quran Foundation. The Madani mushaf layout and QCF fonts are the work of the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex.

We display the text as we receive it from Quran Foundation and do not alter it. Using their text and fonts does not mean that Quran Foundation or the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex endorses, reviews or certifies Qoreen.

The app keeps a copy of the text, and of the fonts for pages you have opened or downloaded, on your device so those pages open quickly and without a connection. That copy is for reading inside the app only. Our licence does not allow us to pass the text or fonts on to anyone, so you must not extract, copy out, scrape, or redistribute them from the app, its files or our servers.

Accuracy matters greatly for the Quran. If you ever see a mistake in the text, such as a missing or wrong letter, word or mark, please tell us at admin@qoreen.com with the surah, ayah and page. We will check it against our source and correct anything on our side.

4. Your account

Signing in is optional. You can sign in with Google, and with Apple once we offer it. Please keep access to that Google or Apple account secure, since anyone who can use it can use your Qoreen account. Tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, under Account. Our privacy policy explains what is removed.

5. Circles and conduct

Circles are private groups. Members of a circle can see its name and the names of the other members, so please choose a circle name you are happy for them to see.

When you use Qoreen, please:

We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms.

6. A free service, provided as is

Qoreen is free, and we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features, or stop the app or website, at any time.

As far as Malaysian law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Qoreen, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Qoreen is a tool for regular reading. It is not a substitute for learning recitation and understanding from qualified teachers.

7. Our work

The design and code of the app and the website belong to us. You may not copy them or build on them without our permission. This does not cover the Quran itself, which belongs to no one, or the fonts and data that come from others, such as those described in section 3, which remain theirs.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens when you delete your account.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will also try to let you know in the app, or by email if you have an account. If you keep using Qoreen after a change, you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia will deal with any dispute about them.

11. Contact

For questions about these terms, or to report a problem, email admin@qoreen.com.
